Job Description:

We are looking for a Web Developer who will be responsible for the coding, design, and layout of a website according to a company’s specifications.

Web Developer Responsibilities:

• An ideal candidate must have experience in planning and the delivery of web applications across multiple platforms. 
• Writing efficient code.
• Creating websites/a website using standard and updated Word Press, JavaScript, PHP, HTML/CSS practices.
• Working closely with Graphic designers and marketing teams to produce the masterpiece website.
• Constant communication with other Department colleagues in the business to develop and deploy their content – and ensuring there is a clear establishment of what can be created within what timeframe.
• Researching different software programs, maintaining software documentation.
• Implementing contingency plans in case the website goes down.
• Maintaining and expanding/enhancing the website once built.
• Search Engine Optimization (SEO) On-Page and Off-Page. 
• Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager. 

Position Requirements:

• Knowledge and Experience of Latest Edition of Word Press, PHP, HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Knowledge and Experience of Website Server architecture that includes Website Hosting, Backup & Security. 
• Knowledge and Experience with server-side frameworks such as PHP and Java.
• Knowledge and Experience with database systems such as SQL and My SQL. 
• Knowledge and Experience with Content Management System. 
• Knowledge and Experience with Search Engine Optimization (On Page & Off Page).  
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computing is required.
• Thorough functional knowledge and coding experience. 
• Ability to multitask with strict time constraints, budgets, and business goals.
• Strong Time Management & Communication skills.
