Organization: Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA), Sheikhupura

Position Type: Full-time / Sheikhupura-based

Role Objective

WASA Sheikhupura is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Operator to join our Organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and managing technical drawings for water supply schemes, sewerage networks, and drainage infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting & Design: Prepare detailed 2D (and occasionally 3D) drawings for water pipelines, sewer lines, disposal stations, and overhead reservoirs.

• Technical Support: Assist in preparing site plans, longitudinal sections (L-sections), and cross-sections of various projects.

• Documentation: Maintain a digital library of "as-built" drawings and revise existing blueprints based on site modifications.

• Compliance: Ensure all drawings meet WASA technical standards and specifications.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the field staff to translate survey data into accurate technical maps.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Minimum Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil or a certified course in AutoCAD from a recognized institute.

• Experience: At least one (1) year of professional experience in AutoCAD drafting (preferably in civil or infrastructure projects).

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD (latest versions). Knowledge of Civil 3D or GIS is a plus.

• Residency (Mandatory): This position is strictly for candidates residing in Sheikhupura. Candidates with a Sheikhupura domicile/address will be prioritized.

Core Competencies

• Strong understanding of civil engineering symbols and scales.

• Ability to meet deadlines and work under the supervision of the engineering team.

• Good communication skills to coordinate with site supervisors.
